What Be There Group does with executive leaders
The best leaders we've worked with share something in common. They're not the loudest in the room. They're not the ones with the most polished answers. They're the ones who understand that leadership isn't a title, it's a daily decision about how you show up, what you're willing to say, and what you're prepared to walk past.
Great leadership creates the conditions for everything else. Strategy, innovation, performance, culture, none of it lands without people who feel safe enough to contribute, brave enough to speak up, and trusted enough to act. You can have the most compelling vision in the room, but if the people around you don't feel seen, heard, or valued, it won't move.
Executives come to us with big ambitions. Transformation programs. Culture shifts. Values that need to live beyond the wall they're printed on. What they understand and what the research consistently confirms is that the single greatest lever for any of it is leadership behaviour. The way a leader listens changes whether people speak up. The way they respond under pressure sets the standard for everyone watching. The way they handle one difficult moment can shape the culture of an entire team. That's not a burden, it's an extraordinary amount of influence.
At Be There Group, we work with executives and their teams to turn already thriving environments and teams into phenomenal ones. Not through frameworks that sit in a drawer. Not through a training day that ticks a box. But through honest, challenging, deeply human conversations about what it actually means to lead.
Because when leadership lands, everything else follows.
What sets Be There Group apart
We love our reputation for doing things differently. Here's what we're most proud of.
We call in, not call out.
Our philosophy is built on curiosity, not judgment. We meet people where they are, build genuine capability, and create conditions where change actually sticks, not just compliance that looks good on paper. That distinction runs through everything we do.
We're Australia's original bystander training specialists.
The Be There App, the only bystander-specific app in the world, was co-developed with Telstra through Griffith University's MATE Bystander Program. It's now a global asset, and it started here. When you work with us, you're working with the people who built the field.
We're built from inside the system.
Our team brings more than 20 years of real-world experience across prisons, government, non-profits, engineering, radio, victim sectors, and higher education. We didn't arrive at this work through a textbook. We lived it and that's what makes us different in the room.
We offer more than a workshop.
Be There Group is a Culture and Leadership Advisory. That means diagnostic and uncovery work, strategy, training, embedding, reinforcement, and long-term partnership. The workshops are part of the work, not the whole of it.
Our training is built on real stories.
Not fictional scenarios. Not generic case studies. Named, personal, real-world moments, from our facilitators, from the field, from the people we've walked alongside. That's what makes it land.
We work across the full continuum.
From prevention through to direct support, Be There Group and Be There Foundation together represent one of the only end-to-end responses to workplace harm and violence in Australia. Sophisticated clients and funders are increasingly looking for exactly that.
Our Signature Offerings
Executive Leadership Workshop
Our executive workshops are facilitated conversations, not lectures. Designed for leaders who are ready to be challenged as much as they are informed, each session combines evidence-based content with honest, human dialogue about what leadership actually looks like in practice. We work with what's real in the room, because that's where culture shifts.
Executive Leadership Focus Groups
Sometimes the most important thing an organisation can do is create the conditions for its people to speak honestly. Our facilitated focus groups give executives a clear, grounded picture of what's actually happening in their organisation, the unspoken dynamics, the cultural patterns, the gaps between intention and experience. We hear what surveys don't capture and feed it back in a way that's useful, not overwhelming.
Mapping Transformational Change
Culture change doesn't happen in a day, and it doesn't happen by accident. We work with executive teams to map what meaningful, sustained change looks like for their organisation, from where they are now to where they want to be. That means understanding the terrain, identifying the levers, sequencing the work, and building in the reinforcement that makes change stick long after the training room empties.
